| Streszczenie: | The investigation was carried out on land belonging to the "La María" Experimental Farm, owned by the State Technical University of Quevedo, located at Km 7 of the Quevedo-El Empalme road, Los Ríos province, between the geographic coordinates of 79º 27 'West longitude and 01º06' of South latitude, elevation 75 meters above sea level, The objective of the study was to evaluate the effect of planting density and structure of corn canopies, in the level of productivity, in the rainy season. commercial: Nidera NS 82 and Advanta 9313 in addition the genetic materials were sown at four planting distances: 0.2 m × 0.8 m, 0.2 m × 0.9 m, 0.3 m × 0.8 m and 0 , 3 m × 0.9 m For the distribution of the treatments in the field, the experimental design of the Complete Block at random was used, with a factorial arrangement with 8 treatments in three repetitions, in order to compare the means between treatments of the selected variables. Tukey test (p = 0.05) Data were recorded on the following variables: Days to emergence, height of plants at 40 days, days at male and female flowering, number of plants at harvest, number of ears at harvest, length of ear, ear diameter, number of rows per ear, weight of a thousand grains and yield Kg ha-1. The Nidera NS 82 hybrid planted (0.20 m × 0.90 m), showed the highest yield 11108.33 Kg ha-1, followed by the hybrid Nidera NS 82 planted (0.20 m × 0.80 m) with 10745.88 Kg ha-1, It should be mentioned that none of the treatments registered negative utilities . Finally, the benefit / cost ratio was calculated. The highest profitability was registered in the treatment formed by the hybrid Nidera NS 82 planted at distance of 0.2 m × 0.9 m with 95.5%, followed by the treatment of Nidera NS 82 seeded at 0.8 mx 0.2 m) with 89.54%.
