Plan de seguridad industrial y salud ocupacional en la Empresa INCAVIT S.A., del cantón Santo Domingo, año 2014

Industrial safety is a field of great importance in industrial engineering, encompasses the policies, procedures and strategies, designed to preserve the physical integrity of the workers, that is basically dedicated to preventing workplace accidents and to provide an ideal working environment. In this context, the focus has been given in this thesis is to propose a plan of Occupational Safety and Health in the company INCAVIT SA, based on concepts, principles, laws, regulations directly related investigations and Industrial Safety methodologies and Occupational Health to the company. The development of this thesis is to provide workers, visitors and company executives INCAVIT SA, information on the physical, chemical, and ergonomic who are able to generate a temporary or permanent worker or workplace injury. This research work also seeks to control industrial safety applied to production processes of the plant, with the intention of making a positive impact on business productivity and reduce their rates of risks, accidents and diseases. The first step to achieve the proposed objective was to analyze the characteristics of all the facilities of the plant and its environment (physical identification, activities, processes, equipment, personnel, etc.) as well as the description of the debt and equity held by the company to fight against disasters or emergencies positively that cause it, in order to design the appropriate structure of the Plan for Occupational Safety and Health.
