Comportamiento agronómico de los híbridos de sandia (Citrullus vulgaris) cazalitype 78.010, 9730 F1, Sharon F1 Y quetzali. en el cantón Babahoyo.

The present investigation is carried out in the search of an alternative to increase the production and productivity; in the cultivation of simple was carried out the property San Gerardo of property of Mr. Iván León, located in the canton Babahoyo, County of The Ríos, parish Febres Cordero whose coordinated geographical they are South latitude 1°, 49', 0"; longitude West 79, 32; the investigation had a duration of six months. The treatments are 4 hybrid of watermelon like they are the Cazalitype 78.010, Cazalitype 9730 F1, Sharon F1 and Quetzal (Witness) that prepared at random in a Design of Complete Blocks (DBCA), with three repetitions. To determine differences among the treatments, the test of multiple ranges was used from Tukey to 0.05% of probability. Of the results settles down that inside the agronomic behavior of the watermelon cultivation, the hybrid Quetzal, the long adult of shaft presents with 3,28 m, the hybrid Sharon F1, presents the biggest diameter of shaft 1,64 cm, the hybrid Quetzal (witness), it presents the biggest number of shafts for plant 9,31, the biggest number of leaves 133,50 present it the treatment T1 Cazalyitype 78.010, hybrid that more flourished it is the Quetzal with 18,60 flowers to the beginning of the flowered and 18,70 flowers at the end of the flowered. the hybrid Sharon F1, presents the biggest number of fruits for plant with 1,60, the hybrid one that bigger precocity to the crop presents is the Czalitype arriving to the crop to the 63,33 days after to sow; and, the hybrid Cazalitype 78.010 with 24.5 cm, the long adult of fruit presents, with 21,10 cm, it presents the biggest fruit wider, with 5,55, he has the biggest fruit weight, the biggest yield for hectare and the biggest profitability.
