Samenvatting:The study of vegetative growth and the need for the fruits to maintain a balance of nutrients in a natural way, in the case of fruit productions that expect to have a large production, the constant evaluation of treatments seeks to determine the most natural way to increase the weight and other characteristics of the plant. The objective of this research is to evaluate the effect of branch girdling and gibberellic acid on fruit production in the Soursop (Annona muricata L). For the development of the research, different research methodologies were used, using for those 4 treatments in 5 different blocks, for the analysis of each of the variables (number of flowers, number of fruits, longitudinal and transversal diameter, R/T ratio and the weight of the harvest fruit) the Tukey test was used (p>0.05). Each one of the mentioned variables was analyzed in each one of the cases, being variations of treatments with ringing and with gibberellic acid and vice versa. Based on the results obtained, it is understood that the treatments applied in soursop plantations show that the use of gibberellic acid in plants that maintain a ringing on the branch have greater benefits than those that do not have a ringing on the branch, as well the amount of gibberellic acid used within the parameters is beneficial for the entire soursop plant. To improve the production of soursop berries in the plantation, it is required to work with a branch ring and gibberellic acid, this causes positive results of 11.84 and 2.73 for the number of flowers and number of fruits correspondingly; On the other hand, the results of the longitudinal and transverse diameter are 40.49 and 27.41 for each one.
