| Summary: | The research project focused on the evaluation of the optimization and austerity regulations of Public Expenditure Decree #135 in the administrative management of Hospital General Quevedo, for which field, documentary, and descriptive research methods were employed, involving a population of 33 administrative officials of the institution. The main results indicate that the impact of the regulations was situated at an intermediate level, approximately at 39.39%. Despite the fact that the regulations have influenced the administrative areas of the hospital, their impact is considered balanced, neither high nor low. It is relevant to highlight that through this research project, a reduction of 8.03% in personnel expenses was detected, reflecting an efficient management of human resources, in compliance with the guidelines of Section I of Decree #135. For this reason, the need to improve the implementation of the regulations, ensuring their uniform application in all areas of the healthcare unit, considering the implementation of internal control measures to help maintain the institution's operational balance, and emphasizing the importance of working on the optimization of processes and resources, with the purpose of improving the efficiency and quality of medical services provided to the members who trust in Hospital General Quevedo. |
