| Итог: | This research has as a general objective to assess the structure and vegetal diversity of “El Sapanal” watershed. Where six units of samples were established in the study area, that were distributed in altitudinal intervals of 40 mts, descending from 520 to 320 meters above sea level; of quadrangular shape and with a dimension of 20 x 20 m and a surface of 400 mts2 where a common name, diameter, total altitude and dendrological characteristics were registered in order to identify each specie per sample unit (SU). To obtain the SU structure and diversity, frequency parameters, density, Absolute and relative abundance, index of value and ecological importance, besides the Shannon index, Simpson, Jaccard and interactions between US and the implementation of Cluster Analysis were applied. A total of 956 individuals were recorded in the whole forest structure, the dominant families were Lecythidaceae and Moraceae. The most abundant species in the study area at different altitude levels are Grias sp. and Guarea sp. The value index more representative was obtained for species Grias sp. and Pouteria caimito with 110.29 and 82.76% respectively. Within the sample units the upper stratum had the highest number of individuals. Jaccard index determined greater interaction between the sample units located within the altitudes of 360 and 480 meters above sea level with a percentage of similarity of species of 46.7%. The Shannon index showed a high diversity within the altitudinal frame located at 360 meters above sea level with a value of 2.69. |
