This research was conducted at the farm owned by Mr. César Oswaldo Hidalgo Núñez, located at Kilometer 7 of Puyo- Macas road, 200 meters to the left margin whose location is 1 ° 30 'south latitude and 77 ° 56 'west longitude at an altitude of 960 meters, had as main objective to assess the production of quail eggs with three types of food. 15 quail were used cages as experimental units in each of the repetitions, giving a total of 240 birds, for it used a completely randomized design (CRD) with four treatments and four replications. The experimental measurements were: initial and final weight of the bird, feed consumption, egg production, egg weight and diameter, mortality, in addition to compositional analysis was made of food, concluding with the economic analysis of research. Results: Avimentos treatment obtained the highest averages in initial and final weight, total consumption, egg production, gross income. Treatment four (Initial chickens) reported higher egg weight and diameter. PronacaAvimentos treatment and had the highest mortality rates throughout the investigative phase The best benefit / cost and cost per treatment, occurred in the treatment Pronaca
