| Sammanfattning: | By studying the zoometric and fanerópticas variables Creole cattle in the province of Esmeraldas and in a sample of 200 adult cows. 16 corporal variables and 9 fanerópticas characters were measured. The fanerópticas and morphological characteristics were the basis of the study, evaluating qualitative variables showed low variability (PC) and (AEG), not the other variables which showed a variability as the coefficient of variation exceeds 10% as are the variables (PV), (LC) (LR), (DB) (AP) (AG) (ACF), (LCF), (LC) (ACR), (DD) (PT) (PC) (LOI), (LG) and (AII), with a coefficient of variation between 11.15 to 32.77%. In fanerópticas characters it was observed at a higher rate profile frontonasal rectum (97.6%) prevailed: the development of medium horns (85.50%), the shape of the horns was highly variable, standing 32.5% higher hook, hook means 22.5% and 12.5% crescent, medium size ear 69% 28% ear long, horizontal orientation in Creole ears 66% and 28% floppy ears, neck. Length medium entire animal, 92.5%, line lumbar back straight was 94% and 92.5% collected belly. The color layer 11 color variants reported, the most common (62%) are based on the fur. In conclusion, the criollo cattle in the province of Esmeraldas show a consistent production of meat and milk body morphology, along with those who allow adequate locomotion under extensive systems, maintaining good adaptation to environmental conditions to which it is exposed. |
