| Sumario: | The purpose of this study is to design a training system to prevent occupational hazards at CONSTRUCCIONES MMG CONSMMG S.A.S., located in the city of Quevedo. This research was conducted using a mixed, non-experimental, and cross-sectional approach, allowing for a clearer view. The specific objective is to determine the company's current status regarding training programs and preventive measures related to occupational hazards. Qualitative and quantitative methods were used, including interviews with the manager and surveys of a population of 10 workers, as well as direct observation of working conditions. The questionnaire allowed the company's most pressing occupational hazards to be identified, based on workers' perceptions. It was concluded that chemical, biological, and mechanical hazards are at a very high level, while psychosocial, physical, and ergonomic risks are also present. According to these results, a correlational analysis was developed, specifically using the Pearson coefficient, which allowed establishing the relationship between the level of training and the presence of occupational risks, showing a strong negative relationship (-0.783623802), that is, the higher the training, the lower the incidence of accidents. The results show that, although the company recognizes the importance of safety and provides personal protective equipment to its employees, there are deficiencies regarding ongoing training for its workers, reflecting the need to implement ongoing training programs as a strategy for occupational risk prevention. Based on these findings, a training plan was designed focusing on the prevention of identified occupational risks, establishing structured training activities that include theoretical and practical content on risk identification and the proper use of personal protective equipment, with the aim of strengthening the culture of prevention and improving workplace safety, contributing to employee well-being and productivity. |
