Ecuador is the world's leading banana exporter and is one of the main banana exporters in the region. In the production of both crops, with emphasis on bananas, large amounts of chemical fertilizers are used, at present chemical fertilizers have low efficiency (≤50%) to be assimilated by crops, fertilizer not incorporated by plants brings a adverse environmental impact, such as contamination of aquifers with nitrates (NO3), eutrophication, acid rain and global warming, given the increase in the use of synthetic or chemical fertilizers, the need arises for an alternative to stop this, which is the use of biofertilizers, prepared with banana pseudostem and rachis and their serious application to the soil, in order to partially or totally replace synthetic fertilization. The investigative work carried out was the diagnosis in the Farm AGRILECHOS 1, in its informative data it was found that they generate a high volume of solid waste, therefore the need arises to modify the process of solid waste management such as the pseudostem, rachis of bananas, creating a profitable and productive system that aims to obtain a biofertilizer through the process of crushing and treating said waste to use it within the company's annual work plan, investing in this proposal will bring many benefits in terms of costs and hand of work for the company, in turn there will be a long-term recovery of investment according to the level of production of the farm. The results of this research indicate that making the production line for the production of biofertilizer, when obtaining the final product of the process, has a greater possibility of adaptation in the soil due to its flexible and harmful microorganisms for the environmental impact, if the company applies this design of production line, it would reduce costs and fertilization cycles per year, it would have an improved profitability margin with profit benefits higher than those currently obtained and maintaining good solid waste management within the agricultural production area would improve labor relations. |
