Its geographical location is 01 º 06 'South latitude and 79 ° 27' west longitude, to a height of 120 m. The work was to determine the effects of benzylaminopurine (BAP) on vegetative propagation of banana orito. We tested the following concentrations: 0 mg/L BAP, 35 mg/L BAP, 70 mg/L BAP, 90 mg/L BAP. Experimental design was used "Randomized Complete" (DCA) with 4 treatments, 5 replications and 6 experimental units per treatment. From 45 days after sowing evaluated the number, length and diameter of shoots, survival rate and force of outbreaks, applying the Tukey test. In the variable number of outbreaks, T1 concentration (35 mg/L of BAP) Zarán 50%, achieved the highest average, with 1.86 shoots the witness that no hormonal dose was applied with an average of 1.39 shoots. For variables shoot length and diameter of shoots the concentration achieved the highest average was T0 0 mg/L BAP, no differences between the concentrations of BAP (benzylaminopurine) and which showed the greatest length and diameter of shoots the T3 (90 mg/L of BAP) with 3.78 cm. In relation to the vigor of plants, all achieved a good effect. As for the economic analysis of the treatments in study, the smallest production cost presents the witness and the T1 with (35 mg/L of BAP).
