Add Tag | Summary: | Around the year 1987, the Carmense community, in favor of development professional youth graduated from different level institutions secondary, resolves to carry out the relevant procedures to open a Department of the Lay University "Eloy Alfaro" of Manabí, in the Canton El Carmen, the same one that began with a building, two parallel and few teachers, after a while seeing the reception that the extension saw the need to develop as a University, and it was as well as new specialties that demanded adequate space emerged. Through a loan, the extension is legally delivered 30 hectares that were being invaded at the time. According information provided by Mr.: Nery Ramón Figueroa, (worker plus former University) currently continues to work in the Extension, we can refer that it is there when the idea of creating a farm arises experimental, which would be used by the school of agricultural sciences. The same that has served for the formation of more than one generation, providing society with professionals prepared and able to help in the development of the canton and the country. This internal control project is intended to verify the information, found in the different administrative departments of the experimental farm as confirmed in the archives of the Secretary General of the Extension. That according to the information obtained, propose practical and applicable solutions to optimize the service in said school. Mr. Figueroa recommends that the institution's authorities should support at all times the projects that students leave when prepare the degree theses, because these projects can be get great results and lower grade students take them as an example. |
