Estudio de factibilidad para la creación de la biblioteca virtual municipal en el cantón Simón Bolívar, provincia del Guayas, 2012

This research was conducted in the Canton Simón Bolívar, Guayas Province, whose overall objective is: Perform a feasibility study for the creation of the virtual library in the Canton Municipal Simon Bolivar, and has the following objectives: a) Make the logical framework of the project to implement the virtual library in the Canton Municipal Simon Bolivar province of Guayas, b) Developing a market study to determine the supply and demand of virtual library service in Canton Simón Bolívar province Guayas, c) effective the study technical, economic and financial support for the implementation of the virtual library in the Canton Municipal Simón Bolívar, d) Identify the social impact would generate a feasibility study in the area of influence. We used the following research methods: inductive, deductive, analytical and synthetic, and extracted information from primary sources provided by the regional government of the canton Decentralized Simón Bolívar, the techniques used were: direct observation and surveys. The population size was determined according to the data provided by the National Institute of Statistics and Census 2010. This research yielded the following results: poor administration of the local government of the canton Simon Bolivar to meet the needs in the area of education of students and residents of the county there is also a limited supply of Internet services, for which we propose the creation Virtual Library in Canton Municipal Simon Bolivar, whose budget is estimated at USD 22,165.00.
