Sumari: | This research is developed in several chapters: the first chapter refers to the approach, description and formulation of the problem, which is to establish the factors that determine the incidence of urinary tract infections in women of childbearing age and their relationship with the frequency of this pathology, which is needed to raise the following objectives: to determine the different social, cultural, and its relationship to the frequency of this pathology; determine the prevalence and incidence of infection Urinary Tract in the Municipal Assistance Subcentro "Santo Domingo; identify risk factors that trigger this disease; identify social, cultural and monitoring factors and implement an intervention plan to reduce the prevalence of IVU and its consequences conducive to improving quality in the study population. This research project was not experimental type of quantitative because it allowed us to determine the different social, cultural, and its relationship with incidence of urinary tract infections by using surveys. the statistical method within which the cross-sectional descriptive comparative is used, since the information was collected with an instrument applied, then analyze specific programs; Likewise, we worked on the document review both books and the Internet, was chosen by the sample 61 patients who attended the Subcentro being the focal group to investigate. It was concluded that more women are 20 to 30 years and the prevalence of urinary tract infections was 82%, with symptoms such as pain or burning with urination, frequent urination, backaches and even fever; during pregnancy 41% if they had urinary tract infections, being the factors that contributed to this: the lack of hygiene in their private parts, the use of soaps, shampoo in their washing, the wearing of tight, another the most important factors is that almost all (93%) said they did not go to the bathroom or the urge to urinate endure.
