總結:The experiment was carried out in the Programme of Ornamental and Medicinal Plants of the Experimental "La Maria" of the Facultad de Ciencias Pecuarias estate belonging to the Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo (UTEQ) between the months of January and April 2015. The objective was to evaluate the effect of the pattern and methods of microinjertación in the spread of clone of cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) CCN-51. Using patterns of 35 days of age with an average height of 18.06 ± 1.8 cm and 0.48 ± 0.06 cm in diameter. A design fully randomized with five replications, was used in a bivariate array of 3 methods of grafting (egg yolk, pua lateral and terminal pua) x four patterns (IMC-67, TSE- 400, CCN-51 and TSE-400). The variables evaluated were: arrest; length; diameter; production of leaves (true, true, and total) and percentage of plants optimal transplantation in periods of 30, 45 and 60 days after grafting, the results were: grafting methods that presented the most appropriate percentages of arrest were terminal with 95.50 pua and lateral pua with 92.50. Did not show incompatibility between cocoa CCN-51 graft and patterns used, since different interactions were found in all the variables, Factor method of grafting present greater significance (p<0.05) in the percentage of arrest, length and diameter of the transplant, so the IMC-67 pattern showed the 90 of plants optimal at 60 days. They were 60 days (p<0.05) differences in total leaf production both in method and in the pattern, the formation of true and not true leaves only took effect 30 days after grafting. The biggest beneficio costo was 0.95 and was obtained with the graft of terminal spike pattern IMC-67 reaching profitability 95.27.
