Sumari:The population of older adults faces significant nutritional challenges, exacerbated by chronic diseases that demand specialized dietary attention. To address this critical need, the project called "NutriHealth" focused on the development and evaluation of a mobile application that integrates artificial intelligence through an assistant based on GPT-4 models. The purpose was to provide personalized nutritional recipe recommendations for older adults according to their preferences. This approach was based on a comprehensive collection of requirements, including interviews with nutritionists and staff from a senior recreation center, supplemented by a SWOT analysis of existing tools in the market. Employing rapid prototyping methodology, the development process allowed for agile iterations that culminated in an optimized and functional design of the mobile application. The mobile application underwent a rigorous evaluation using the Direct Observation technique and the SUS questionnaire (System Usability Scale), with the participation of 9 representatives of older adults. The evaluation results indicated a 77.6% acceptance level, reflecting the effectiveness of the mobile application in terms of usability and relevance for the target demographic group. It was concluded that the integration of artificial intelligence technologies in the development of mobile applications represents a viable and effective strategy for improving nutrition in older adults. The success of the mobile application suggests significant potential for the implementation of technological solutions tailored to the specific nutritional needs of this population, opening new avenues for research and development in the field of personalized healthcare assistance.
