| Sumario: | The objective of this research is to determine the impact of project-based learning (PBL) in the development of meaningful learning in the area of natural sciences in the “Sagrado Corazón de Jesús” School of Basic Military Education in the canton of El Empalme (Guayas), period 2023-2024. Project-based learning is an innovative teaching approach that has gained much attention in recent years due to its effectiveness in promoting meaningful learning. By providing students with hands-on learning opportunities. The methodology is based on a research with a mixed approach, bibliographic and field modality due to the nature of the objectives, the survey technique was used, through a questionnaire to teachers, students and directors of the institution. This study made it possible to carry out a diagnosis of the situation in relation to PBL and meaningful learning, as well as to develop teacher training aimed at promoting and significantly impacting the educational institution. |
