The construction of a horizontal incubator was carried out because this type of incubator has a simpler, cheaper and easier-to-use design compared to a vertical incubator. Resistant and suitable materials were used, such as wood, steel angles, steel plates, Flex foam, to achieve the necessary temperature and humidity requirements. The mechanism that moves the eggs at 45° works with three locks that place the bases that hold the buckets in three different positions: top, bottom, and middle. When carrying out the functional tests without the eggs, it was observed that the incubator complies with the necessary factors for the development of the eggs, such as a correct temperature and humidity that are controlled through a thermostat. |
