Summary:This thesis project is developed for the company "THE LIBRARY OF U.COM", for which we will make a study of the book market, domestic production and its main characteristics in terms of quality, price and quantity produced. Alongside this research proposal aims to develop a Strategic Marketing Plan for the company's Book store U.COM in the city of Quevedo, by applying the theory and basic concepts of marketing, with this excellent knowledge, in turn contributes to hig here arnings company staff, the sales would increase, and continue on the path of book sales efficiently and effectively. We have analyzed one of the major impediments that have college students is the economic situation in which they live, because most are self-claim studies and are supported financially by their parents do not have a budget for buying books original, so that we can recommend us to exploit the potential of e-book market. The main strength of this company is to have a trained staff that sells products of excellent quality, but above all have perfect knowledge of the business and competition at competitive prices. The positives are there in the book store U.COM is technological innovation in teams to penetrate new markets by taking advantage of new regulations of the Organic Consumer Law.
