Περίληψη:Blood donation is an altruistic act for which there must be exceptional conditions, only the knowledge that is necessary for someone or for ourselves and that 9 out of 10 people will need it at some point in their lives and the desire to spend half an hour. Anyone with good health, over 18 and under 65 years of age and weighing over 50 kg, can donate sangre. Solo to have suffered certain diseases such as hepatitis, AIDS, malaria, tumors, diabetes, hypertension blood, and being sick in the days prior to donation or taking certain medications, make a person unfit to donate blood at any given time. In any case, health staff that makes the blood collection, made some tests and some questions to see if the donor are able to perform donations. En cases to be excluded temporarily, once the stated period has elapsed, may be resubmitted to donate. 65% of blood donations are made in developed countries, which only represent 25% of the world population. Donation rates follow the minimum necessary to meet the basic needs of a country in 73 countries still less than 1% of the population. Donated blood and blood products help save millions of lives each year.
