要約:The present research project was carried out in the Canton Buena Fe, with economic analysis of two diets in pigs of Pietrain breeds under established conditions, the objective was to analyze the effect of two diets in the development and growth of Pietrain breeds in established conditions Vaca de Monte del Cantón Buena Fe Campus, using descriptive, explanatory, field research, analytical, synthetic, inductive, deductive, comparative and statistical analysis methods were also used; For the development of the theoretical foundation and the fulfillment of the research, primary and secondary sources were used that provided relevant information that was needed for the fulfillment of the research objectives. That is why relevant data were collected about the Pietrain pigs and the diets that were used, to demonstrate the economic disbursements and income obtained by using each of the feeds. The entire parenting process that led to the fulfillment of this work was monitored by the researcher; mainly in the food portions that the animals received according to their age, handling, cleaning of the pen, safety, animal health and weight of the pig. It was shown that the pig-fed diet with industrialized balanced presented the best conditions since all pigs at the fifth month weighed more than 90 kg, with a total cost of $ 917.40, the largest item being food with 64.99%, with a total production of 384.55 kg, and a cost benefit ratio of $ 1.15. The diet 2 was based on a preparation (palm kernel, soybean paste, corn, powder, molasses, bran and concentrate) is $ 794 dollars, the food item being the heaviest with 63.22%, with a total production of 324.92 kg, with a cost benefit ratio of 1.02; meaning that for every dollar that the pig farmer invests, he earned $ 0.02 cents.
