The project was carried out in the associations of farmers registered in the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock of Quevedo, these associations have 319 partners of which was selected a sample at random of 175 people to apply a survey where Determined how to fumigate the crops, farms were selected in which the study of methods and time to the fumigation processes used by farmers. As a result, it was obtained that 96% of the respondents carry out the fumigation of their crops by the traditional method-using a backpack-type sprinkler pump, the time of fumigated by this medium is 17, 8 hours per hectare. According to technical specifications of the drones through this system the fumigation time per hectare will be reduced to 4.5 minutes, the cost of fumigation when implementing the new fumigation system will be reduced by 48%. On the basis of feasibility of the project it is recommended that it be extended, through the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock, to the farmers that are not part of the associations, it is suggested to make a diagnosis of the process of application of the agrochemical through the drone To verify the efficiency and efficiency of its use in relation to production, because the cost of the fumigation drones is very high it is advisable to be acquired directly by the associations and they create a fumigation department for Provide this service to your partners and other interested farmers. Keywords: Agricultural fumigation, Drones, Time study.La presente investigación plantea la optimización de los procesos de fumigación agrícola mediante la implementación de los drones fumigadores, la finalidad de este proyecto se basa en demostrar que mediante la implementación de este nuevo sistema se puede abarcar una mayor área de fumigado en menor tiempo. El proyecto se lo realizó en las asociaciones de agricultores registradas en el Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería de Quevedo, estas asociaciones cuentan con 319 socios de los cuales se seleccionó una muestra al azar de 175 personas para aplicar una encuesta donde se determinó como realizan la fumigación de los cultivos, se seleccionaron fincas en las cuales se realizó el estudio de métodos y tiempo a los procesos de fumigación usados por los agricultores. Como resultado se obtuvo que el 96% de los encuestados realizan la fumigación de sus cultivos por el método tradicional -utilizando bombas de aspersión tipo mochila-, el tiempo de fumigado por este medio es de 17, 8 horas por hectárea. Según especificaciones técnicas de los drones a través de este sistema el tiempo de fumigado por hectárea se reducirá a 4,5 minutos, el costo por fumigación al implementar el nuevo sistema de fumigación se reducirá en 48 %. En base a viabilidad del proyecto se recomienda que sea ampliado, a través de Ministerio de Agricultura y Ganadería, a los agricultores que no forman parte de las asociaciones, se sugiere realizar un diagnóstico del proceso de aplicación del agroquímico mediante el dron para verificar la eficiencia y eficacia de su utilización en relación a la producción, debido a que el costo de los drones fumigadores es muy elevado es aconsejable que sean adquiridos directamente por las asociaciones y estas creen un departamento de fumigación para brindar este servicio a sus socios y demás agricultores interesados.
