"Manejo de residuos sólidos en la ciudad de San Jacinto de Buena Fé plan estratégico ambiental 20009-2014"

The research entitled “SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT IN THE CITY OF SAN JACINTO DE BUENA FÉ STRATEGIC PLAN ENVIRONMENTAL 2009 - 2014 ”presents the analysis of the current management of solid waste, which seeks to assess all useful techniques and minimize waste risks to the environment, through a good execution of the components of comprehensive management of solid waste: collection, transport, treatment and final disposition. The study performed a thorough analysis to determine weaknesses existing in the solid waste collection system, know the shortcomings that occurs in the transport process, to know what type of treatment is currently gives solid waste, and if the final disposal is carried out in according to the technical criteria allowed. This investigation allows taking the necessary corrections by parts of the competent authorities, in the face of each of the weaknesses that arise currently in the management of solid waste in the city of San Jacinto de Good Faith, strengthening this entire process will significantly improve the quality of life of the city's inhabitants. This entire research process is a fundamental pillar for the Department of Hygiene and Environment of Buena Fe canton, invest the technical, financial and human resources necessary, having a relationship direct to training and education programs for users, to intensively implement the comprehensive solid waste management plan in the city ​​of Buena Fe. Citizens need to be trained in the area of ​​waste management solid, to give positive responses to all actions promoted by the current administration, and ensuring the sustainability of the project in the aspects economic and environmental.
