Shrnutí: | This research project was carried out on a farm in the San Carlos parish belonging to the Quevedo canton. The objective was to describe the traditional agroforestry systems in the Azucena farm in the La Sucre area of the Quevedo canton. A survey was carried out to identify the biophysical characteristics of the agroforestry systems of the farm in which the largest area is destined for agricultural plantations, qualitative and quantitative data such as common name, diameter and height were also recorded for the determination of the vertical structure, horizontal structure and diversity of species. For the analysis of floristic diversity, the parameters of abundance, frequency, dominance and the index of value of ecological importance "IVI" were also evaluated, the Shannon and Simpson indices were also evaluated. Four agroforestry systems were found in the evaluated farm. A total of 258 individuals distributed in 33 species were inventoried, Spondias mombin; L. being the one with the highest abundance, of which they were grouped into 21 families in which ANACARDEACECE was the most abundant with 55 followed by LAMIACEAE with 44. The species with the highest percentage of index of value and ecological importance was Tectona grandis; L. with 142.52%, followed by Spondias mombin; L. with 137.40%; The Shannon index was relatively low for all agroforestry systems, but among these the highest value was for (SAF 2) agricultural plantations, while the Simpson index for agroforestry systems showed that the highest dominance was for the Spondias species purpurea with the highest number of individuals present in the (SAF 3) live fences, the value of the Simpson index ranged between 0.047 and 0.326. |
