| Summary: | The organizational climate and its impact on the work performance of teachers working at the Technical University of Cotopaxi, considering that teachers spend most of their time at the institution. The objective of the research was to analyze the organizational climate and its impact on the work performance of teachers, for which an analysis of 6 dimensions was carried out: Communication, recognition and interpersonal relationships, Physical environment, institutional objectives, delegation of functions, motivation and responsibility, the same that constitute fundamental axes for an institution that provides educational services, where the quality of the climate can significantly affect its effectiveness and well-being in the academic field. l. The research is descriptive, explanatory, correlational; the study population consisted of 61 teachers and 4 managers, methods such as analysis, deductive and inductive and historical logic were used, a questionnaire was applied by dimensions of organizational climate and work performance, an interview guide with 16 questions was applied, and a questionnaire of 28 questions, on a Likert-type scale of five options, with the following rating scheme: (1) Strongly disagree, (2) Disagree, (3) Neither agree nor disagree, (4) Agree (5) Strongly agree. The results showed an average of 3.015 and a percentage of 79.3% acceptable, with respect to the dimensions of organizational climate, the dimensions of pedagogical performance and management and research performance showed an average of 3.61 and a percentage of 93.5, highlighting the significant relationship between climate and work performance. |
