Resumo:Through the development of this project it is intended to show the design and simulation of a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) for the data processing center of the Universidad Técnica Estatal de Quevedo. The UPS will be designed considering criteria established in books or scientific articles relevant to the research. The circuits obtained in the design process will be analyzed using software such as: MATLAB / Simulink, Psim and Proteus; allowing to obtain a vision of the behavior of the output and input voltage and current waves of the UPS, with different types and values of loads, respecting the calculations obtained in the design and considering the standardized values of electrical materials such as: capacitors, inductors, etc. Keywords: desing, analisys and wave.
