Efectos morfométricos generados en Schizolobium parahybum (Vell.) S.F. Blake (pachaco) por aplicación de herbicidas durante el manejo de arvenses.

Pachaco's production is quite profitable in medium-term investments and that is a fast growing species. This species also offers good possibilities to combine short to medium cycle agricultural crops. The present research aimed to analyze the morphometric effects generated in Schizolobium parahybum (Vell.) S.F. Blake applying different herbicides, for this, two phases were carried out: the first was the nursery which consisted of transplanting the plants to pots and taking them to a chamber where they were during the first stage of the project, for the field phase they were He proceeded to the transfer to a land located in the Valencia canton, Costa Azul Campus near Mr. Thomas Spain's property, it was evaluated in a period of 24 weeks where the morphometric variables, coloration and symptoms of the plants were determined. It is worth mentioning that each of these was distributed in quadrants which were assigned according to the type of herbicide applied to them, five treatments were established (MIX (PAMEX + AMINE + GLYPHOSATE), PAMEX, AMINE, GLYPHOSAR AND TESTIGO), obtaining the better results in the AMINE treatment where a plant height was reached with an average of 52.65 cm, diameter of the plants with an average of 9.01 mm and number of leaves with an average of 3.16. On the other hand, the variable of the length of leaves the WITNESS was the one who presented the best results with 32.02 cm. While in the coloration variable the color of the leaves was evaluated, being 2.5 GY 6/8 the most recurrent and for the color of the stem the codes 5 GY 5/10 and 7.5 GY 6/10 were those of higher incidence.
