Resumo:The following research project focuses on the design of a system of high-density plywood production from rejected sheets of balsa in the company Banova S.A. to optimize the use of the raw material since at present the company is only making high quality boards which only take advantage of 49% of the raw material. The company Banova S.A. is the only one in the world to offer to the market of plywood balsa boards, which have as main characteristic to be super light, these boards are very desired by the European and North American markets. The idea of this project is not to replace the current production system but rather to complement one another, since the only way to take advantage of the limitations that wood provides is to produce high quality products as well as low Quality, in this research project will demonstrate that these two production systems can complement each other increasing global productivity and reducing the large volumes of inventory that costs the company around $ 105,708.00 per month. An adequate technical study will demonstrate the design of the ideal product and the production requirements necessary for the viability of the project. As in any organization, Banova S.A. to make the decision to implement the new production system more than and to know that its productive capacity if it allows it to produce HD CC Balsa board without affecting the production of the Banova Ply is necessary financial indicators TIR and VAN which through analysis The financial presentation presented below shows that with a VAN of $ 20121.29 with an TIR of 24.35% the project is viable.
