Sumari:The present study was developed with the purpose of analyzing the incidence of disruptive behaviors in the academic performance of elementary school students, considering that such behaviors affect the school climate limiting the teaching-learning processes. This research aimed to identify how these behaviors affected students, taking into account factors such as motivation in the classroom. The methodology of this work is a quantitative approach, with an exploratory-descriptive design of non-experimental type, which allowed to describe the phenomenon without manipulating variables. The population consisted of 220 middle school students and 6 teachers, selecting a sample of 10 students in the fifth year of basic education who presented recurrent disruptive behaviors. Data collection techniques such as direct observation, survey and analysis of ratings were used to obtain objective and reliable data. The results showed that the majority of peers with unfavorable attitudes had low academic performance, showing insufficient grades, lack of attention and poor participation in classes. It was also identified that such ACTS were related to the emotional management of children.
