| Sammanfattning: | This research was conducted during the dry season of 2011 at the Experimental Farm "La Maria" located at km 7.5 via Quevedo-The Junction, Province of Los Rí-os. Its geographical location is 1 ° 06 "South latitude and 7 ° 29 'West longitude, at an altitude of 120 meters. The floor is uneven topography with small slope, loamy - clay, pH of 5.5 to 7.5 and regular drainage. In order to bring to market good quality products free of contaminants. The objectives were, evaluate the germination pe-riod, development and yield of cucumber (Cucumis sativus), with different types of organic substrates in dry weather conditions in the area of Quevedo, Los Rios Province, and as specific were: 1). Determine the type of substrate that allows bet-ter germination of cucumber, 2). Identify what type of substrate allows better growth, 3). Determine what kind of dose results in greater production, and 4). Per-form economic analysis of the treatments under study. The hypothesis was: The use of substrates improves the agronomic performance of cucumber cultivation, increases vigor, development, performance and helps the ecological balance treatments were evaluated in the Hybrid Thunder. Substrates were used: Bokashi Composting + + Arena + Coal + Humus + Sand + Manure Compost, Compost + Charcoal + Humus + Earth + Earth + Coal + Humus Bokashi., The same as those applied in different doses, in 250 g , 500g and 750g. The average cotyledon swelling did not differ significantly, how-ever the substrate S4 (Bokashi + Earth + Coal + Humus), showed the highest swelling, the substrate consisting of (+ Bokashi Compost + Arena + Coal), induced a 40 % more leaf emission-daderas see others substrates under study, the substrates and doses did not differ significantly in the issuance of flowers, being the substrate with the low-est emission manure floral. The highest yield of 23,939 kg was obtained fruit when planted in the substrate S4 (Tie-war + Bokashi + Coal + Humus), at doses (250 grams per plant) 5,201 ton / ha., With the use of S4 (Earth + Bokashi + Coal + Humus), reached the highest return 283.6%. |
