| Резюме: | This study proposes the comparative analysis of the mechanical behavior of the rollover protection structure under impact conditions with the use of a pendulum block and properties of different materials, in order to observe its performance when subjected to these conditions of analysis and to verify its damage. This document applies methodologies for the selection and ranking of steel alternatives, which are evaluated according to the minimum mechanical properties, in order to find the most appropriate alternatives within a universe of materials for their selection. The CES Edupack program, which has an extensive database of materials, uses the AHP method in the ranking process to evaluate the alternatives according to the required acceptance criteria. This study has as main goal solely to analyze the protection structure of the category T1 agricultural tractor. The SOLIDWORKS mechanical design program is used to obtain and prepare the geometry of the protection structure, to perform the preprocessing and solve by the finite element method, the LS-PREPOST and the LS DYNA programs are used. Through the analysis performed in this study, it was possible to obtain the first approach to the mechanical behavior of the protection structure, presenting maximum stress values in the main connections of the structure, as well as a response for the plastic and elastic deformation of the structural members for the selected materials.
