Summary:The present work was done in order to evaluate the living conditions of the families of the rural sector in the canton Mocache of the province of The Rivers; with a population of 38.392 inhabitants, of whom 20.91 % corresponds to the urban area and 79.09% to the rural area; this way is indicated that Mocache is a canton with rural predominance. By means of realized surveys directed the families, it was possible to observe the situation of the basic services, conditions linked with the quality of life. The abandon to which the rural zones are submitted, is a problem that has to be solved by the contribution of the State, though, at present the Government tries to give a slight impulse to the zones rurally, with the creation of the MIES-INFA helping the children of fewer resources economically with school breakfast, uniforms, budget that it replaces to the quotas of the family parents among other things. The analysis and interpretation of results of the surveys, it allowed to know the conditions of how the every some live of the families of the rural sector of the Canton. This work is I divide in 5 chapters which are described later: The first chapter constitutes in the contextual frame of the investigation. The second chapter contains identification of the problem. In the third chapter the obtained results are affected. In the fourth chapter the discussion is realized on the living conditions. In the fifth chapter the conclusions develop and the recommendations are suggested.
