The general objective is to analyze the public management of the ProMejoras Health Center in Cantón Quevedo by evaluating its impact on oral health to propose improvements that optimize service quality. The study employed a correlational design based on a quantitative approach. Participants included 6 center staff members and 278 patients. The results reveal deficiencies in activity planning and the inconsistent use of epidemiological and local data. Although 71% of respondents recognized the incorporation of social and biological risks, issues persist with the uniform implementation of these practices. Regarding patient satisfaction, less than 50% consider public management effective, highlighting opportunities for improvements in infrastructure and staff training. It was concluded that public management significantly influences the quality of dental services, albeit in a limited manner. It is recommended to strengthen strategic planning, optimize resource allocation, and promote staff training. |
