Summary:Currently there are two types of IATF protocols used in beef cattle, protocols based on gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) and protocols based on estradiol, in both cases combined with progestin devices Heat synchronization in cattle allows for better performance reproductive systems, increasing the effectiveness of treatments with ovulation induction and cyclicity, are associated with other techniques that allow very good pregnancy rates to be achieved in the field, for which the present research project had the objective of assessing the synchronization of heat and insemination fixed-time artificial (IATF) in crossbred bovine females, from the Mocache canton.
