Sumari:This research is the evaluation of the economic impact the drinking water project in the inhabitants of the parish Velasco Ibarra El Empalme Canton, Year 2012, the population that will be studied is 47.667 persons, divided into 23.981 men and 23,686 women considering that 38.6% of the total population of the parish is poor according to the National Institute of Statesmen and Census INEC. The aim of this subject is to know and analyze how the economy affects the inhabitants of the parish Velasco Ibarra plant water treatment and what their contribution to the economic growth of this parish. Field research in the parish Velasco Ibarra shows that 46% of people pay between $ 5 and $ 10 your water consumption but with the construction of the water plant 62% of people believed to increase consumption and 16 % believe that their income will be reduced. 53% of people said that the construction of drinking water plant will create jobs, 64% of people said that the water plant will contribute to the economic growth of the parish Velasco Ibarra, 80% of the population, said that the way to economic growth in the parish for the construction of drinking water plant will through better revenue for the municipality and 19% said there will be more works....
