| Riassunto: | Mi Pan & Compañía, like many SMEs in Quevedo, faces a competitive business environment where human talent management is crucial. The lack of a structured competency-based model hinders talent identification, limits employee skill development, impedes objective performance evaluations, and generates high turnover. The diagnosis reveals difficulties in attracting and selecting staff due to a lack of clear job profiles, limitations in competency development due to the absence of individualized plans, insufficient performance evaluations due to a lack of objective criteria, and high turnover due to demotivation. Failure to address these challenges is expected to increase staff turnover, poor organizational performance, difficulties in attracting talent, and a negative impact on organizational culture. The question then arises: How can we determine the most appropriate competency-based human talent management model for Mi Pan & Compañía that optimizes performance and job satisfaction? To this end, a mixed-methods research project is proposed, combining qualitative, quantitative, and secondary research methods (books, academic articles). Instruments such as closed-ended questionnaires and semi- structured interviews, adapted from validated studies, will be applied. The lack of a competency-based human talent management model can generate gaps that affect the optimal development of the company. Therefore, its implementation can achieve sustained development and improve its market positioning. It is essential to transition from empirical process development to more structured and streamlined processes that improve management development, optimize time, and increase competitiveness for the company. |
