| Gaia: | Inventory within an organization is critically important for efficient operations, representing one of the most significant assets that requires strategic and proper management. One of the main shortcomings currently identified is the lack of effective control through an adequate computerized system with standardized procedures, which directly affects product turnover, space optimization, and end-customer satisfaction. This study aims to analyze inventory management within AGROSERPEC’s and its impact on profitability during the year 2023. The research was conducted using a descriptive and quantitative methodological approach, employing both primary and secondary data collection techniques. Current management processes and the costs associated with inventory operations were evaluated, and specific strategies are proposed to optimize operational efficiency and enhance business profitability. Key findings revealed inefficient management within the warehouse and inventory departments, negatively affecting organizational processes and limiting opportunities for continuous improvement. Additionally, although current profitability indicators are satisfactory, there is an urgent need to implement corrective actions to establish systematic order and strict control over the company’s product offerings. In conclusion, necessary measures must be adopted to improve inventory management efficiency, including strategic investment in a comprehensive technological system capable of efficiently processing accounting, inventory, and general organizational activities. |
