Add Tag | Summary: | In the last decades the telecommunications sector has undergone changes at very rapid steps; traditional models are being replaced by more current and cutting-edge technologies. This research project is carried out in order to know the state of wireless telecommunications networks in Ecuador, based on an analysis and deduction taking as a reference the transition over time through the different generations of wireless networks. The information used to carry out this project will be used for the analysis and comparison of wireless technologies, background analysis, the state of wireless technologies and their requirements for a transition. In addition to knowing the conditions under which they are regulated at the local level. For the development of the research, the use of scientific articles, theses, laws, national plans, newspaper articles, among other resources promulgated for wireless technologies up to 5G, will be taken into account. The results obtained in the research carried out based on the meta-analysis technique and the contrast of various inquiry criteria reveal a perspective attached to the reality of what would be the technical and technological requirements necessary to implement a transition.
