| Tóm tắt: | This project was carried out at Tecnoblock S.A., a balsa block manufacturer located in the province of Los Ríos; Quevedo, Principal S/N, in front of Finca San Javier Forzafrut, Vía A Ventanas Km. 14, which presents a proposal for an asset management system according to ISO 55000 standards in the production process of this organization. 14, which presents a proposal for an asset management system according to ISO 55000 standards in the production process of the organization, we proceeded to make the technical visit to carry out the due collection of information, executed through on-site observation in order to know the state in which the organization is, through the SWOT analysis we could identify its strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats to continue with the process of production of the organization, we proceeded to make the technical visit to carry out the due collection of information, executed through the on-site observation in order to know the state in which the organization is, through the SWOT analysis we could identify its strengths, opportunities, weaknesses and threats to continue with the development of strategies, by means of which it is possible to diminish or mitigate the weaknesses by means of the FO-DO and FA-DA matrices which take advantage of the positive effects reducing the negative ones, being the decision making the most outstanding, which favors the growth of the company, devising trainings that allow to increase the formation of the personnel that intervenes in the production process, according to the changes of national legislation. Then we continue with the verification of the organization's compliance with the standard, evaluating the level of maturity to senior management and in detail in the process, which focus on the company's vision, management and compliance, showing that 71% of the requirements of the standard do not exceed Level 1, with only two requirements at Level 2. Finally, an asset management model is developed, through which each requirement set forth in the standard will be complied with, establishing policies, roles and methods for collecting information and following up on each activity to be carried out, highlighting the need to improve the organizational culture, which will give value and prolong the useful life of the assets and of the equipment involved in the balsa block production process.
