Izvleček:The research study "Risk of hypertension in older adults and their relationship to quality of life Health Center November 10," Hypertension is a public health problem that generates high financial costs with high dependency on multiple drug therapy and complications Lethal character, the objective to identify the lifestyles that affect Hypertension in the Elderly attending the health center November 10, the results determined that 40.54% of adults have hypertension; 11.71% suffer from hypertension more diabetes; 34.23% age comprises between 81 and 90 years and are the Azuay. 66.7% are women; 54.95% are active sometimes as walks, crafts and dances; 22.52% have no activity for physical disability and 22.52% always conducts dance, rides and crafts. And he concluded that older adults developed hypertension as a result of lifestyles. Factors influencing is a sedentary lifestyle; 22.52% of them do not perform physical activities; 12.61% have consumed cigarette; 17.12% have consumed alcohol during his lifetime, so they developed the disease in some cases complications such as diabetes and kidney problems 10.81% 3.60%. 38.7% are hypertensive and have monitored drug treatment by the doctor of the institution.
