The present investigation was carried out in different estates of the cantons of the provinces of Los Ríos (Quevedo, Valencia, Mocache, Palenque) and Esmeraldas (Atacames, Eloy Alfaro, Esmeraldas, Muisne, Quininde, Rioverde and San Lorenzo), due to their Climatic conditions for a good growth since it tolerates altitudes of 0 to 1000 msnm, precipitations between 500 and 3000 mm and temperatures between 22 to 30 ° C, in addition its soils provide the necessary and favorable conditions for the establishment of raft. The information was obtained prior to the year of establishment of the plantation, by means of a survival and maintenance evaluation in the first year, as an evaluation method circular plots were established for sampling from 250 to 500 m², depending on the surface to be evaluated. The planted net surface and UTM coordinate register was made using the GPS (Mobile mapper 20). For the analysis of the survival of the investigated provinces Los Ríos and Esmeraldas, a t-Student test was applied, which showed that there is no statistically significant difference between the two provinces studied. The analysis of box and mustache determined that the cantons of Los Ríos present a higher percentage of survival in comparison to the cantons of the province of Esmeraldas, because it presents better climatic conditions and adaptability of the species under study. |
