Add Tag | Summary: | The research project was carried out at La Tormenta farm located in Luz de América parish, Santo Domingo canton, Santo Domingo de los Tsáchilas province and at Mi Recuerdo farm located in El Vergel parish, Valencia canton, Los Ríos province. The objective of this research was to evaluate the growth and mean annual increment of G. arborea plantations in two localities of the Ecuadorian coast, in plantations of 4 years old, established at a distance of 4 x 4, in each plantation rectangular plots of 1000 m² were established. The following variables were evaluated: DBH (diameter at 1.30 m), Ht (total height), Hc (commercial height), AB (basal area), Vol.T (total volume) and Vol.C (commercial volume); as well as the average annual mean increment for each of them |
