Sammanfattning:The research project was carried out in "La María" Experimental Farm of State Technical University of Quevedo, located at kilometer 7.5 of Vía Quevedo - El Empalme, Canton Mocache, province of Los Ríos. The main objective was to evaluate the agronomic response of twenty-one genotypes of quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) in Mocache agroclimatic conditions, during a period of five months (from august until december) in 2017. A completely randomized design (DCA) was used and qualitative and quantitative morphological variables were recorded. For the qualitative variables, the results from the population evaluated (n = 21) was that the most predominant panicle type is glomerulated with 62%, followed by amarantiform by 29% and mixed with 9%. The leaf colors that predominate in the plantations are greenish yellow by 43%, pink by 24%, yellow by 19% and orange by 14%. While the colors of quinoa grains that be prominent are the color yellow with 43%, white with 28%, red with 24% and black with 5%. Otherwise for the quantitative variables, the genotype 48 presented the best agronomic responses in plant height with 38.30 cm at 30 days, while the genotype O - 2 obtained the highest average at 60 days with 109.49 cm, and finally the genotype 48 reached an average of 154.17 cm at 90 days. For the stem diameter variable at 30 days no statistical differences were found in the means of the genotypes, while at 60 days the genotype O - 2 had the highest average with 1.47 cm and after 90 days, the genotype O - 2 presented the highest average with 1.54 cm. For the variable days to harvest, an average of 118 ± 25 days was determined. Although, for the variable weight of 1000 seeds, the genotype that stood out was Faro 2 with 2.58 g. For the production variables, humidity was standardized at 16.70% for each genotypes, obtaining as a result that the genotype O - 5 presented the best yield with a 143.15 g / plant, equivalent to 19087 kg / ha.
