Efectos de la poda en plantaciones de tectona grandis L F (Teca) ubicada en la parroquia Zapotal Cantón Ventanas Provincia de los Ríos año 2020.

The investigation was carried out at the Hacienda "RAFAELITA" located in the Canton Ventanas of the province of Los Ríos. The general objective was to analyze the effects of pruning in teak plantations for which data on diameter increase, height and volume were collected with results in which they were analyzed, the diameter increase found that in plot 1, in the first intake of data that was carried out on July 20, 2019, we obtained values of 12.190 cm and in the second data collection that was carried out on January 25, 2020, values of 12.785 cm were obtained, which represents a diametric increase of 0.60 cm., while In plot 2, in the first data collection we obtained values of 12.623 cm and in the second data collection it was 13.314 cm, which represents an increase of 0.69 cm. The corresponding increase in the heights that in plot 1 in the first data collection was 11,079 m and in the second data collection was 12,368 m, which represents an increase of 1.28 m in plot 2 in the first data collection. In the data, the values of 11.164 m and in the second data collection were 12.405 m with an increase of 1.24 m. The average volume of plot 1 in the first data collection was 0.091 m3 in the second collection it was 0.111 m3 while in plot 2, in the first data collection 0.098 m3 and in the second data collection it was 0.121 m3 with an increase of 0.109 m3.
