Özet:The present research was carried out with the purpose of evaluating homeopathic substances and their effect on cucumber plants (Cucumis sativus). A complete 2x4 + 2 random blocks design was used in 3 replicates. Two homeopathic dilutions were evaluated: 7CH and 13CH, and four homeopathic substances: Silicea terra, Natrum muriaticum, Magnesia phosphorica, Arsenica album, whose interactions were compared with two controls: 85ºGL ethanol and water. The research was carried out in three stages: germination, emergence and vegetative development. The variables germination and emergence rate and percentage were evaluated. The variables stem length and root radius, shoot weight and root radius, shoot dry weight and radicle were evaluated at each stage, in addition to stem diameter, leaf number, leaf size, number of flowers and days to flowering evaluated in the stage of vegetative development. Significant germination differences were observed with Arsenica album 13CH; whereas Natrum muriaticum 13CH during vegetative development recorded, plants that showed longer stem length (107.07 cm) at 51 days after sowing As opposed to the control (78.63 cm). The radicle length presented significant differences with the application of Silicea terra 7CH (49.59 cm) with respect to the control group with water (28.6 cm). The fresh and dry weight of radicle in germination was influenced by Arsenica album 13CH while the highest fresh weight of radicle in emergence was verified with the application of Magnesia phosphorica 13CH. Natrum muriaticum at 13CH and 7CH during vegetative development showed significant differences, being the highest values in the variables leaf number, leaf size, stem diameter, number of flowers. Finally, Natrum muriaticum 7CH and 13CH showed significant differences in days at flowering (36 days), unlike control (47 days). The homeopathic substances studied have favorable effects on cucumber plants and their action differs according to the phenological stage showing that homeopathy is a viable alternative for agriculture.
