Zusammenfassung:This research paper called "PERFORMANCE REVIEW OF OIL PALM (Elaeis guineensis) BY NATURAL AND ARTIFICIAL POLLINATION IN THE PROVINCE OF LOS RIOS" was developed in the province of Los Rios, located in the central part of the Ecuadorian coast. The province of Los Rios belongs to five also includes the provinces of Bolivar, Guayas and Santa Elena; It is characterized by a humid tropical climate with two distinct seasons a rainy with about 95% of the annual rainfall and a "dry" days with 5% The average annual temperature is 24.5 ° C, the following were raised To compare the profitability and productivity of the cultivation of oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) by natural and artificial pollination in the province of Los Rios. Specific Examining maintenance costs in oil palm crops through natural and artificial pollination determine crop productivity, profitability and establish oil palm cultivation with natural and artificial pollination, for which data were obtained ledgers the years 2010-2013 of the estates: Maravilla, Retiro, Juliana, Oasis and San Sebastian. The level of production, costs, revenues and profitability in the systems of natural pollination and artificial pollination, who underwent the horizontal analysis which concluded evaluated: The cultivation of palm produced with natural or artificial pollination presents profitability . The type of artificial pollination presented higher production volume than natural pollination exceeding 26.58%. Production costs with artificial pollination exceeded those of natural pollination in 34.32% which demand for other economic indicators for decision-making. The higher earnings were achieved with artificial pollination, exceeding 35.84% to those obtained with natural pollination. The greatest economic performance was achieved with natural pollination that on average exceeds 28% artificial pollination which is an indicator for decision-making and demand revision in production costs with artificial pollination.
