Shrnutí:In Ecuador, urban property tax is one of the primary taxes collected by municipalities, and Quevedo has the potential to digitize its services. The study was conducted to assess electronic management and its impact on municipal services. The research used qualitative and quantitative methods, including exploratory and descriptive approaches. Both taxpayers and municipal officials were surveyed. The results indicate that the majority of taxpayers wish for property tax payments and other services to be digital. Furthermore, they are aware of the benefits of timely payments, but they have varying opinions on the quality of the collection service. Most of them express a favorable attitude toward the idea of making payments through digital platforms. However, a portion of the population has limited internet access. Municipal officials believe that electronic management should streamline and optimize processes while enhancing service quality. They also acknowledge the importance of training personnel in information security and evaluating service impact. The main advantages of electronic management are improved efficiency and service quality. It was concluded that implementing a digital platform for tax and service collection is a recommended measure. Nevertheless, data security, accessibility for all users, and adaptability to changes in needs and expectations must be ensured. Additionally, active user involvement in the platform's design and development process is suggested.
