Gaia:This research was carried out in the city of Quevedo, Los Ríos province, and its main setting was the identification of existing natural and cultural attractions. The COVID-19 pandemic caused the ways of executing tourism to change completely. Quevedo in this time of confinement was projected to become a potentially tourist destination, which is why many tourism investment projects are currently being implemented. The general objective of this project is the development of a digital tourist guide where the canton is exposed for the purpose of tourism development. The first specific objective is to inventory the natural and cultural attractions, obtaining information and photographs for the development of the second objective, which is the development of the aforementioned guide, finally, it is the promotion of said guide for informational purposes so that citizens have a reference from the canton, thus promoting local tourism and that in this way new ventures have a good number of visits after COVID-19. It was concluded that there is a diversity of natural and cultural resources that have not been adequately used for tourism purposes and the generation of new ventures expected post-pandemic is a great opportunity to carry out activities that generate dissemination and promotion allowing the use of tourist attractions and thus achieving recognition as a new tourist destination.
