The market study found that farmers in this area have a great interest in the use of harvesters and dryers, so often rent these machines, more for lack of knowledge where can buy them and the prices, if they had access to more information they can invest in order to increase profitability. There are a limited number of agribusiness mechanical workshops in the area of Quevedo and surroundings, most of them small and medium businesses manage by their owners, but do not maintain exclusivity within the same type of machinery, offering a wide range, and this factor which allows they to have experience in all, but no specialty. The economic study details the initial investment, which amounts to $ 46,656.44, which will be financed by 30% equity and 70% for bank loans. The financial study established the value of VAN at $153,157.51, TIR at 92.43% and the benefit - cost ratio at 1.33, so this project is considered executable. The environmental impact analysis provided a project indicates how to decrease the environmental impact of an agribusiness machine shop, because this type of business is located in category "B". |

The environmental impact analysis provided a project indicates how to decrease the environmental impact of an agribusiness machine shop, because this type of business is located in category "B".El presente trabajo de investigación se realizó para establecer la viabilidad, para la Creación de un Taller Agroindustrial en el Cantón Quevedo, considerando el potencial agrícola del cantón de Quevedo y otras zonas de influencia como: Valencia, San Carlos, Buena Fe y Mocáche. La importancia que en los últimos años está tomando la utilización de máquinas agroindustriales en el proceso de producción agrícola, ha permitido superar el concepto de que sólo los grandes agricultores deben invertir en maquinaria, por el contrario actualmente se está considerando este tipo de inversiones como una opción para optimizar los recursos disponibles y agregar valor a la producción local. El estudio de mercado determinó que los agricultores de esta zona tienen un gran interés en la utilización de cosechadoras y secadoras, por lo cual en muchas ocasiones recurren al alquiler de este tipo de maquinarias, esto se debe en primer lugar a la falta de organización de los pequeños y medianos agricultores que tienen limitaciones en el manejo información adecuada que les permita tomar decisiones en el momento oportuno y así mejorar la rentabilidad de su actividad. Dentro del estudio económico se detalla la Inversión Inicial para la implementación del Taller Agroindustrial, la cual asciende a $46.656,44, misma que seria financiada en un 30% con capital propio y el 70% por un préstamo bancario. En el estudio financiero, se estableció el valor del VAN en 153.157,51, la TIR en 92,43% y la relación Beneficio – Costo en 1,33, por lo cual se considera al presente proyecto viable.
