Evaluación al inventario de mercaderías y grado de confiabilidad de los controles de national tire experts, sucursal Quevedo, año 2012

This work was carried out in the company National Tire Experts Branch Quevedo, and used different research methods to produce the report. It began with the use of questionnaires, then made observations, interviews and notes, gathered information from the company, and became a brief but necessary knowledge of the departments that generate information for the accounting. With the knowledge gained was reached defining the problem which is to solve the inventory of merchandise. Since the identification of the problem was necessary to consult the theory through a thorough review, to have technical knowledge regarding physical inventory process and solve the situation identified. The tires, which are part of the physical inventory of the company and were chosen for this process are from national and international factories. The emphasis has to perform physical inventories, because otherwise it original company's economic instability. In the same way, SWOT analysis was performed which revealed organizational and administrative deficiencies regarding the procedure at the time of conducting the inventory. The results show that the practices of physical inventories are produced only when the need arises and has small amounts of stock. Reports there is unknown slow-moving inventory, obsolescence or fallen into disrepair inventories. The consignment or delivery orders are authorized by the cellar master, however, supervision is needed in this activity. Existing methods lack security against alteration of shipments or delivery orders, forms printed are numbered by the system , this number may be altered because the security system is poor.
